Albert S. Voorhees founds A.S. Voorhees & Sons Painting and
Paperhanging in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Early 1920's
Early 1920's

Second generation Voorhees, Fred H. and Harry B., continue to manage
the family's painting and paperhanging business.

1955
1955

Oliver B. "Ollie", son of Harry B., founds O. Voorhees Painting &
Drywall Construction, providing drywall construction services to
residential and commercial building projects.

1964
1964

Voorhees incorporates and changes name to O. Voorhees Painting
Company, Inc. More than forty years later, the company continues
to provide painting and wall covering services in
the greater St. Louis area and southern Illinois.

Early 1970's
Early 1970's

Voorhees serves as subcontractor to Marriott Corporation during the
construction of Marriott Hotels.

Mid 1970's
Mid 1970's

Holiday Inn of America hires Voorhees as a renovator,
providing interior construction services.

1980
1980

Third generation owner, Ollie, founds O.V. International, Inc.
to service the hospitality industry as a nationwide general contractor
specializing in hotel renovation. His sons, Stephen G. and William B.,
join their father in the family companies.

1989
1989

O.V. International, Inc. becomes Voorhees International, Inc.
Brothers, and fourth generation owners, Steve and Bill, proudly continue
to manage the company that has become a leader in hotel renovations.
